      4. Installing
  1. Wire - 20-22 gauge
  2. Vinyl electrical tape/wire nuts
  3. Wire strippers
  4. Scissors
  5. Inverter/Power Supply
  6. Digitel EL material
  7. ZeroNine Conductive Foil
  8. Conductive Tape

Step 8: Applying Conductive Tape

Using the double-sided black Conductive Tape, apply a 1 inch strip to the CLEAR ITO on the WHITE side of the Digitel Material and another piece to the area that you would like to light up on the conductive print itself.

Once the double-sided black conductive tape is adhered to the CLEAR ITO or conductive ink, place your stripped wire on the black tape. To achieve the best electrical connection, be sure to fray out the wire strands as shown.

Prior to connecting your wires, UN-PLUG your inverter and power supply.

Step 9: Connecting Wires

Using some copper or aluminum conductive tape, apply a small strip over the wires to secure them in place.

DO NOT PLUG IT IN YET! The lamp is not laminated yet and you may receive an electrical shock!

Step 10: Applying Wires

Wrap a piece of electrical tape around each WIRE NUT, so it will not un-wrap itself loose. Be sure not to pull or tug on the wires. These wire attachements are very delicate and will be the first things to check if a connection came loose.
