Step 13: Applying Conductive Tape

Using the conductive tape included in your kit, apply a 1" strip or greater to the CLEAR ITO of the WHITE side of the Digitel material.

Make sure that the tape is fully on the CLEAR ITO and not partially touching any of the white or pink areas.

Step 14: Connecting Wires using Conductive Tapes

Using a stripped and frayed wire, place the wire on the double-sided black conductive tape. Push down on the tape so that the wire strands stick to the conductive tape.

Using another piece of copper or aluminum tape, place over the wire strands to secure them in place.

Step 15: Making your Second Connection

Place another piece of conductive tape fully in the area that you would like to light up on the conductive print. Using a different stripped and frayed wire, make your connection like you saw earlier.

In the example shown, only the center is going to light up because the wire connecting to the conductive print is wired to it and the circuit is broken all around the roll by printing the clear stroke.
