      4. Installing
  1. Wire - 20-22 gauge
  2. Vinyl electrical tape/wire nuts
  3. Wire strippers
  4. Scissors
  5. Inverter/Power Supply
  6. Digitel EL material
  7. ZeroNine Conductive Foil
  8. Conductive Tape

Step 8: Applying Conductive Tape

Using the conductive tape included in your kit, apply a 1" or greater strip to the CLEAR ITO area of the WHITE side of the Digitel material. (The larger the tape strip the better)

Make sure that the tape is fully on the clear area of the material and not partially touching any of the white or pink areas.

Step 9: Temporary Testing

Prior to connecting your wires, UN-PLUG your inverter and power supply.

Connect one alligator clip to the conductive tape located on the CLEAR ITO. Connect the second alligator clip to any newly printed conductive area that you would like to light.

DO NOT PLUG IT IN YET! The lamp is not laminated yet and you may receive an electrical shock!

Step 10: Testing the Lamp

Flip over your lamp so you can view the pink side.

Remove your hands from the lamp and plug in the inverter. The newly created lamp should light up. SUCCESS!

UN-PLUG the lamp.
